- The university needed to create an outstanding online experience for three key audience segments:
- Prospective students
- Current students
- Alumni
Objective
Develop a website that provides a great user experience, effectively showcasing Pepperdine’s offerings and value proposition to all target audiences.
Process
- Research and Strategy : – Created user personas based on surveys with faculty, students, stakeholder interviews, and workshops with the administration of the various school’s within Pepperdine.
- Information Architecture : – Developed content hierarchy for page level content and designed components to display content creatively.
- Holistic Design Audit : – Reviewed the design landscape of many competing colleges and universities both in state and in other parts of the country. Documented already existing user interface components and created new components and added to the overall design system.
- Prototype : – Created high fidelity prototypes to review with internal team and handed off to development.
